"We just received our Ribcap a few days ago and could not be happier! Yesterday we went to the park and he was able to climb rocks and run ahead of me, and we both felt confident. He didn’t get overheated, and the cap stayed in place (his old one always sinks down over his eyes).
Casper has had seizures for almost 4 years, but he has good days and bad days, and it is hard to predict what kind of day we will have. I’ve always felt a little guilty when I put his large, bulky, non-breathable helmet on him, because it gets in his way and makes him uncomfortable, and sometimes it even causes overheating, which can cause seizures!! But I also feel guilty when I decide to risk not putting it on him, because that can (and has) lead to easily-preventable injuries.
